Website Groups is a Chrome extension that lets you open or close a saved group of websites in one click. This policy explains what information the extension uses and what it does with it.
Your groups. The names, icons, colours and site lists you create are saved with Chrome's built-in storage (chrome.storage.sync). If you're signed in to Chrome with sync turned on, Chrome copies them to your other computers through your Google account. This is handled by Chrome under Google's privacy policy. The developer of Website Groups can't see this data.
The addresses of your open tabs. The extension reads the addresses of your open tabs only when you open its popup or click Close, to count how many sites in each group are open and to close the matching tabs. These addresses aren't saved and are never sent anywhere.
If you use Export, your groups are saved to a file on your computer. That file stays wherever you save it, and the extension doesn't send it anywhere.
You can delete any group from the extension's popup. Removing the extension from Chrome deletes all of its saved data.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
